A vegan wedding fair for eco-conscious couples

Event to be held in Berkshire in March

If you are a committed vegan then why wouldn’t “the happiest day of your life” be an environmentally conscious vegan affair in line with your ethics?

It was predicted last year that vegan weddings were set to become a Thing. Well here is evidence to support that prediction. A vegan wedding fair is taking place next month in Berkshire, the first of its kind in the county.

Trunkwell House set in 34 acres of countryside will host a range of eco-friendly suppliers of dresses, cakes and stationery on Sunday, 8th March. There will be beauty demonstrations of cruelty-free hair and make-up. Naturally, wedding photographers will be there too though it is not immediately apparent what makes a particular photographer quality for the ethos of the event.

An eco-conscious dream wedding

Sarah Zeneli, the founder of Sparkle Vegan Events is the brains behind the event which will operate as the vegan wedding planners. Her company currently hosts the Wokingham Vegan Market each second Sunday of the month.

“I love working with couples to help create their perfect day that remains in line with their ethics and doesn’t negatively impact the environment,” said Ms Zeneli, “and we have carefully selected fantastic suppliers that can help them to achieve that”.

“That’s why we’re so excited about Sparkle Wedding Fair, as couples will be able to meet with lots of vegan and eco-friendly suppliers, chat about their fantastic work, and find out how they can be a part of their dream wedding. It will be a very friendly space and everyone is welcome.”

The event is free to enter. Attendees will get a free goody bag on arrival. The event runs from 11 am to 4 pm.
