Jamie Oliver to Host a New Vegetarian Cooking Show on Channel 4
Jamie’s Meat Free Meals to air in September

Jamie Oliver has endured an “annus horribilis” having had to close down nearly twenty-two of his Italian-themed restaurants. But he’s still as passionate about food as ever.
Whilst not a vegetarian himself, he has announced that he will be bringing a new cooking series “Jamie’s Meat-Free Meals” to Channel 4 starting in September. Filming has involved Jamie travelling to India and Israel, two countries with a strong vegetarian tradition.
“I love meat and fish but you can do some amazing things with veg and I think we all know that eating more vegetables is good for us and the environment,” said Oliver in an interview with the Sun.
The chef has a long-standing track record with Channel 4. But now he is drilling deeper into plant-based cooking. The new show arrives on the heels of his latest cookbook, Veg.
His new cookbook is a collection of food that he loves to eat at home with this family and included his trademark flavours. Dishes as he likes to say, keep him energised, comforted and full up – and presented beautifully.
The series promises to be a delight for vegetarians and vegans alike.
