Vegan Camp-Out has just announced the sale of tickets for its 2020 event. Describing itself as the world’s largest vegan camping festival, there are lots of fun features to keep campers occupied. The event will take place on 21-24 August 2020, at the Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire. Tickets are now available on the organisers’ website.
Campers come each year from over 30 countries according to Vegan Camp-Out.
There is a line-up with stages for music and talks, areas for activism workshops, yoga and fitness, as well as a large number of delicious food options. There will also be a DJ led party each night.
There will be a stage dedicated to Vegan Activism with a programme of seminars, talks, panel discussions and workshops. Activists from Britain and around the world will give talks, lead workshops and training to raise awareness and inspire animal advocacy.
There will also be a family area run by Grow Up Vegan, a non-profit community interest company, as well as the inevitable array of glorious food.
Viva! are event partners. Viva! is known for its undercover investigations and dynamic campaigns which expose factory farming.
This year’s line-up includes vegan cooking duo Henry Firth and Ian Theasby, otherwise known as BOSH, animal activist Joey Carbstrong, distance runner Fiona Oakes who holds four world records for marathon running, and the band Mobius Loop. There will be plenty of other well-known vegans from different disciplines and fields to inspire and promote wider adoption of the vegan
The festival is not quite a fixture on the vegan scene.
