Perfect Vegan Ice-Cream Makes Its Debut Thanks To Perfect Day

Now you can Savour your tasty Animal-Free Ice-Cream that's DNA Identical to Dairy

Finally, animal-free ice-cream makes its debut yesterday and Perfect Day has now finally launched this long-awaited product – the world’s first properly vegan ice-cream product.

With the numerous alternatives to the beloved Ice-cream from soy products to almond milk, the Biotech start up’s co-founders, Ryan Pandya and Perumal Gandhi say that they expect to ruffle the dairy industry’s feathers. The company has been producing animal-free dairy proteins using the fermentation process (as set out in a Fortune article in 2018).

Under laboratory magnification, the company’s vegan milk contains whey proteins that are identical to that of cow’s milk. The creation process uses fermentation and simply does not involve any animals in the chain.

The process is quite comprehensive: DNA milk is put into microflora, dependant on the type of diary one is producing. Microflora uses the fermentation process to turn sugar into milk proteins which is so much like cow’s milk. This is now mixed with the plant-based fats to get what we now know as vegan and lactose-free milk.

A limited initial production run

Since this vegan ice-cream is such a radical new idea for many customers, it seemed only right to the Company to implement a limited initial run to get customers to open up to the idea of consuming this product.

Perfect Day is one of many groups of companies, which are attempting to make animal protein animal-fee. Recent studies are showing again and again that consumers are concerned about what foods they are eating and the environment repercussion of non-vegan foods.

Perfect Day is now leading the way in Vegan based dairy products from Silicon Valley.

The ice cream is currently exclusively available on its website. It is currently available in three flavours: Vanilla Salted Fudge, Milky Chocolate, and Vanilla Blackberry Toffee.

Who doesn’t love ice cream? Now vegans can allow themselves to be a little bit decadent. Easy on your tummy!
