Vegan Activism
There are many ways to be an animal activist. Just being a personal witness is in itself powerful. Some decide to protest in the streets, in the supermarket aisles and outside local butchers. Some encourage their local fish and chips shop to have a vegan night using Banana Blossom as a fish alternative. Some go out and about talking to people, challenging their positions and uploading the resulting conversations onto You Tube. There is no one size fits all.
Here are some of our news stories on vegan activism:
- a gruesome “die-in” at a well-known butcher in Toronto which was impactful because of the paraticularly graphic nature of the photogenic protest, photographs of which were spread virally by the popular city guide website;
