New Vegan Clothing shop opens in Edinburgh this weekend

A vegan fashion retailer, Treen, is opening a vegan womenswear clothing store in Stockbridge, a vibrant area in the north of Edinburgh this weekend. The Pop Up store is popping up at 17 St Stephen Street.

Edinburgh Live reports that Treen founder Catriona Anderson aims to provide ethical clothing that both looks good and is also sustainable. Treen plans to be a one-stop place to find both. 

“I studied fashion at university and have over eight years experience in the fashion and retail industry opening stores in UK, China and Hong Kong for global brands. I returned to the UK last year to launch Treen” said Anderson.

“My transition to a vegan lifestyle in 2015, after being veggie most of my life, promoted me not only to reassess what I was eating, but also what I was wearing! Treen was born after I struggled to upgrade my wardrobe to match my lifestyle.”

Brands that make a positive statement through fashion

The store aims to provide an interesting selection of carefully selected brands that are proven to be making a positive vegan statement in the fashion industry. More particularly Treen proclaims itself to be a vegan fashion retailer that aims to bring positive impact fashion to the conscious woman.

Catriona describes her style as “timeless with an edge”.
