Billie Eilish and Woody Harrelson team up to video their thoughts on Climate Change

Duo also appeared on Saturday Night Live together

Two famous vegans celebrities united to make a video to tell us all about the impending Climate Change problems.

Entitled “Our House Is On Fire” the video is short and to the point. Eilish urges us all to “do what we can to live a greener lifestyle like cutting out all meat and dairy in your diet and reducing plastic use.”

Harrelson is a long-time vegan and environmental activist. He once climbed the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to unfurl a banner protesting at the felling of giant redwood trees.

“History shows us that when enough people rise up and demand change, those in power have no choice but to act,” Harrelson says. “From California to the Amazon, our forests are burning, we are in a climate emergency.”

Eilish points out that a million species are becoming extinct because of “mankind’s actions.” In publishing the video she writes that “right now there are millions of people all over the world begging our leaders to pay attention. our earth is warming up at an unprecedented rate, icecaps are melting, our oceans are rising, our wildlife is being poisoned and our forests are burning. the clock is ticking’.

Billie Eilish was recently described by Decca Aitkenhead in the Sunday Times as “by a long way the coolest human being I have ever met”.

She regularly uses her platforms to talk to her fans about issues of concern to her. In June she told her then  26.2 million followers on Instagram that “animals are tortured for your pleasure”. The message attached shocking footage of an undercover dairy farm.
